This is a steep, vertical shaft measuring just 45 centimeters wide. Climbers must wriggle up the shaft for 3.5 meters. Move slowly and strictly follow your guide's instructions on hand and foot placement.

Adventure Tour Obstacles
The Adventure Tour at Cango Caves is a 90-minute physical challenge. You will squeeze, slide, and climb through narrow passages deep underground.
This route extends beyond the main halls and requires a high level of physical fitness. It is not suited for children under 8, pregnant women, or visitors with claustrophobia, back ailments, or high blood pressure.
Once you enter the narrow sections, there is no turn-around point. You will navigate an environment with a constant 18°C (64°F) temperature and high humidity.

The Devil's Post Box

This obstacle features the tightest squeeze in the entire cave system. You must navigate a mail-slot-like gap that is just 27 centimeters high. You will have to slide through flat on your stomach, using your toes to push yourself forward.

Lumbago Walk
10 minutes
This is a long, low-ceiling tunnel. It forces visitors to walk while bent entirely double. Protect your head and back by keeping a consistent low crouch until the tunnel clears.
